ArtBoxy and Satellites of Art extraordinary digital exhibitions!
We are thrilled to announce that in collaboration with ArtBoxy, Satellites of Art held not one, but THREE extraordinary digital exhibitions during June! The first exhibition took place at ArtExpo Basel, featuring the brilliant works of Liz Benitez de la Llera, all the way from Cuba, and of Mil Chankrim, hailing from the captivating country of Cambodia. EVENT – Black Film Festival 2023 (Zurich)
Black Film Festival Zurich celebrates the work of black filmmakers and showcases work that takes an unconventional look at black experiences that allows new perspectives and understandings. We will be exhibiting the work of three talented African artists: Phumzile Buthelezi (South Africa), Jeffery Baidoo (Ghana), and King Jacob Chimeremeze (Nigeria). EVENT – International Oriental Film Festival (Geneva)
The FIFOG will showcase a diverse array of creations, sometimes fantastical, sometimes nightmarish, through sixty films promising discoveries, discussions, escape, understanding, and a convivial sharing experience. We will present two of our talented artists: Hela Ammar from Tunisia and Alexandra Bitar from Lebanon. MEET THE ARTIST – Nadir Alzamora (Ridan)
Nadir Alzamora (Ridan) Country: Peru Ridan was born in Lima, Perú in 1990. He moved to Piura to study where he developed a closeness with the town of Yapatera- Chulucanas, which became a key place in his artistic development. From a young age, Ridan had a closeness with nature, which he later on used as the main subject matter in his art. Artistically, he is interested in getting to know new places and then finding a way to break them down into colors, shapes, and symbols. Listen to his story!
