“In these works, my focus has been on figure painting and its related formal challenges that often take shape within the context of themes drawn from Iranian culture. In engaging with these themes, I have strived to adopt an active and personal approach, or at the very least, to find a unique and introspective perspective towards them.

Most paintings began with a single idea, then continued with diverse sketches and studies, ultimately reaching execution. However, destroying, reconstructing, and embracing unforeseen occurrences have been an inseparable part of the working process.

Now, with the passage of time, this painterly process appears more vivid to me, while the initial ideas and themes have become fainter.”
