Nevzat Kica

“I am a visual artist whose work is deeply rooted in emotion, symbolism, and the human experience. Painting is not only my profession but my language – through oil on canvas, large formats, expressive movement, and layered color, I explore identity, memory, spirituality, and the powerful connection between humans, nature, and mythology. Horses, landscapes, ancestral heritage, and silent inner dramas often appear in my compositions as carriers of strength, transformation, and collective story.
My artistic journey has grown through both formal foundations and personal evolution. Over the years, I have developed a distinctive style that moves between expressionism and symbolism, often merging narrative with abstraction. I work primarily in oil on canvas and large-scale formats, where I can unfold dynamic scenes filled with tension, motion, and depth. Many of my paintings embody themes of resistance, migration, sacred history, and the inner struggles of individuals and communities. I am especially drawn to monumental works that speak without words – where the viewer stands before an image and feels rather than analyzes.”
