ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Victor Ogwamenhlu is a self-taught visual artist who hails from Edo State, Nigeria. He obtained his HND (Higher National Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering from Petroleum Training Institute in 2019. His passion for creating art led him to pursue a career in painting full-time, where he continued his artistic development through a mentorship program from Light House Creative Academy, other renowned artists and self-study. Victor's journey into art stems from his inquisitiveness about human nature and how the environment, family and culture plays a major part in defining ourexistence.His works seeks to inspire a sense of self-awareness and confidence among people, while also creating a greater sense of understanding and empathy for the experience of others.
