I didn’t get the opportunity to meet my grandparents but l have been told stories of thesir bravery as they crossed the sea of sand in the north. I have been told of their great connection to the land so much that it spoke to them and told them secrets of the Universe, their hearts were sensitive enough to hear the land speak. It told them where to go and when to leave. They would beat the drums up the mountains to ask for rain when it was needed. They took care of the land and it took care of them.
