“Metamorphosis”

The presence of cubical man or cubic in my painting has appeared in the midterm of my professional life as a painter, due to  an accident which has caused the loss of my right eye. Since then, my sight has faced obstacles and so my paintings have experienced evolutions. I use the word evolution because I believe even lack of sight cannot prevent the painting though. It can prevent seeing it, but never the act of  painting it. My sight has changed, but the history of painting is the history of seeing differently and originally these obstacles in sight, voices and writing caused the evolution in art and society.

In art I believe the standard is doing things highly wrong, with the appropriate standard of anarchy. The difference between seeing  the world with one or two eyes is like the difference between sheet-like and geometric shapes, or the difference between the bi-dimensional world and three-dimensional world, or the difference between flat surface and cubic.
