ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Born in the Parisian suburbs, Maëlys Ediaho is a visual artist of Ivorian origin. After several years of interest in the arts, she decided to do a degree in Applied Art at Autograf in Paris. Later, in 2017 she did a Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Arts, where she began her research on identity plastics. She currently works as a curator, where she sets up small neighbourhood exhibitions at her university, and where she also exhibits her drawings. In 2019, she decided to return to Ivory Coast, where she started to focus her art on the importance of identity representation.
