ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Karakire Strong is a self-taught contemporary artist based in Rwanda where he has his own art studio. He has been painting since 2004 and has won several prizes. He has been able to master the style of realism which he mixes with abstract painting to produce beautiful artworks. For him, a painting is like a database, which he uses to record the whole process of painting. Karakire has exhibited his work and has had art residencies in different countries including Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana, Seychelles, Mauritius, China, Germany, France, United Kingdom and Australia.Artworks
