``From the very beginning of my serious activity, I liked to paint landscapes that are either abandoned or seem abandoned. I didn't want the presence of human, even in the form of a few undefined spots or even a shadow, to be evident in my work - except in the form of the changes they did in nature and the impact they had on shaping it. This is an idea that I have followed to my new landscape works. It seems to me that man should not be considered as a part of nature and landscape, but should be done separately.``
