Agaba Solomon Peabo is a self-taught multidisciplinary creative born and raised in Uganda. Agaba works in various fields, from photography to digital art. To produce immersive Afro-futuristic photographs, Agaba uses digital art to explore his reverence for nature by juxtaposing realistic elements with surrealism. He uses the vibrant street colours of his home country for inspiration for his street fashion photography.
Agaba’s photography inspiration has always come from people and the history of Africa. The artist’s photography is nestled between reality and dreams. Agaba hopes to use his art as the foundation to create, innovate and inspire a better Africa.
In 2021, his work was exhibited in Ebirungi and MoTIV Art Salon in Kampala. In 2020, his work was exhibited in The Creative Tribe’s PopUp Gallery in Jinja.
